Today we went to the National museum of Bermuda. This morning I woke up at 07.30. I ate a toast with honey and an apple. After that, I wrote my diary.

At 08.30 we had the daily morning meeting. During the meeting our captain Chris explained, that we had a leak in the exhaust pipe gasket in the engine room. Because of that, we will stay one more day in Bermuda to give the engineer time to fix the problem.

As usual we did some cleaning on the ship. My watch did the well deck. After cleaning, we took the bus to the Dockyards at the other side of the island.

We drove over one hour. After we arrived, we visited the sailing vessel “Spirit of Bermuda”. Later we visited the National museum of Bermuda. The museum was really interesting because it explained  a lot about the history of Bermuda, for example the discovery, wars, trade, ships and much more.

The day was amazing and we had really good weather. At 17:00 we were back on the ship Pelican of London. For dinner we ate rice with chicken, sauce with mushrooms and vegetables. Afterwards we watched a film.

Aujourd’hui, nous sommes allés au Musée National des Bermudes.
Ce matin, je me suis levée à 07:30. J’ai mangé des toasts avec du miel et une pomme.

Puis, j’ai écrit dans mon journal. À 08:30 nous avons eu un meeting. Durant le meeting, Chris a expliqué qu’un joint n’était pas étanche et laissait passer les gaz d’échappement à l’intérieur du bateau et que pour cette raison nous devions rester un jour supplémentaire au port afin de réparer ça.

Comme toujours nous avons ensuite fait un court nettoyage du bateau. Ma watch était aujourd’hui dehors sur le pont pour nettoyer. Après nous avons pris le bus pour aller de l’autre côté de l’île. Le trajet nous a pris une heure.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, j’ai visité le bateau “Spirit of Bermuda”. Puis, nous avons visité le Musée National des Bermudes. Le musée était très intéressant parce que ça expliquait l’histoire des Bermudes : sa découverte, les bateaux, etc.

La journée était belle et il faisait beau. À 17:00 nous sommes arrivés au bateau de Pelican of London. Pour le dîner nous avons mangé du riz avec du poulet et une sauce aux champignons et des légumes. Apérs le diner nous avons vu une film. Le journee etait bonne.
