Day of activities

Today was a day full of activities. We started with breakfast between 08:00 and 10:00. After that, we had surfing.

We were split into two groups because otherwise we wouldn’t have enough boards. Group A started at 9:30 and group B had some time to do whatever they wanted to do.

I am in group B and we were just lying down for another hour. After that, we walked to the beach to watch the other group surfing. Then we had our surf lesson.

We were allowed to go into the water until only our heads were visible.

It was very easy to catch the waves, but they were big and sometimes they rolled over us, throwing us around. After that, we had a tour through the city.

The guide told us many things about fishing and fish.

He also showed us a shop where they make everything out of a specific type of wood, but we weren’t allowed to take pictures.

After that, we split the group into boys and girls to get a traditional massage. While the girls started with the massage, the boys walked to a football field, where we played against some Moroccans.

The Germans won the game 6–3.

After the game, we walked to the spa, but the girls weren’t finished yet and we needed to wait 50 minutes longer than planned before we were allowed to go in.

During the treatment, we were first realigned and then smeared with an almond cream. Afterwards, we were scrubbed with a cloth and then just had to lie in a very hot room, rinsing ourselves off occasionally.
