Bizarre Breakfast

First thing in the morning after a successful feast on snail slime, soulelixar and many more bizarre dishes:

Setting Stormsails

We set the stormsails for the first time, preparing for a “BIG BIG” storm.

(Don’t worry! Everyone was fine!)

Lovely Lunch

After we finished setting the sails, we had a short break to clean our rooms and relax until lunch at 12:00.
(Only 12 hours left till midnight.)

Naturally, we had pumpkin stew. It’s Halloween!!!

Worrisome Washing

But the joy didn’t last long since lunch was followed by something horrific — washing the dishes.
(it wasn’t too bad.)

Cruel Cleaning

After that, we had a bit of snoozing time 💤 for ourselves. But don’t be fooled! It was just the silence before the storm!

Since today is not only the 31st of October, but an early cleaning day, we need everything to be sparkling clean ✨ before reaching our first stop, Vigo (Spain).

Back to the timeline, after embracing the cleaning day, we started…

We wiped and swept away every last bit of undead dust:

We practiced our ghost-fighting skills. (No witch will dare come close.)

And… ehh… that was about it.

Teatime

We finished around 4 PM, starting our tea time/coffee break (eight hours left till midnight).

Salty Swimming

While teatime itself was refreshing, the announcement, which Norbert made, had us even more excited. We were allowed to go swimming today!!! We just had to hope that there were no hungry sea monsters nearby.

(The water was around 16°C.)

After everyone was back on board, one could say that even though Norbert wasn’t too pleased about some people jumping from the edge of the ship, it was a successful and fun event.

Quote from Julius: It was unreal!

But then disaster struck! The water tank connected to the boys‘ shower ran out of water (Fortunately, our competent mechanic Gerhard fixed it in no time).

Large Lasagna
Additionally, dinner consisted of two ginormous lasagnas (I don’t know if this is the correct plural), prepared simultaneously by the hardworking „Backschaft.“

Thanks to them, “soon” (it took until shortly after 19:00) everyone could stuff themselves with this hot, tasty meal.
Again, credits to the „Backschaft.“

Vacation in Vigo

Next, around half 19:30, a small group presented their findings about Vigo. They had prepared a short briefing for the upcoming shore leave in Vigo.

(Almost midnight — is something going to happen? You’ll never know, or maybe you’ll stay tuned for the next blog. 😉

Greetings

Liebe Grüße an euch alle, besonders an Papi, wir haben heute Lasagne gemacht! Von Carlotta
