How to write a job application

Because we of course want to spend our time doing useful things, we had German class today.
Even though I can’t accept the necessity of “German” as an Abiturfach, I got to admit, with “Applications” (Bewerbungen) we learned something useful today. We can use this knowledge soon when we apply for our positions in the coming ship-take-over. Ship-take-over, as the name already says, we take over the ship from the Crew for some time. Somebody, for example, applies as officer, and then gives us orders we must follow.

Food Delivery

Today came another Food delivery. Auf Süß. We’ll leave the day after tomorrow, because someone has to look over our engine. That means one more free Shore-leave.

Keeping busy with more challenges!

After some general cleaning up, it was time for some Challenges! The first task was to get on a Sub-board with three people as fast as possible, then stand up and stay upright for 20 seconds. We ( Echo 1) totally rocked this challenge.

The second one was to get six apples out of a box partially filled with water, only allowed to use your mouth. We got second, thanks to Bennis great commitment.

The last task of today was to take one mooring line (used to tie the ship to the key side) through a hole on portside, above the Bowsprit and back through a starboard hole. Then coil it back up. The fastest would win.

For dinners desert Benjamin and Maliqa baked a “ Russischer Zupfkuchen” and an Apple crumble to everyone’s delight.
