Today we went to Santiago de Compostela. For that to happen, we met on the pier at 09:00 and walked to the bus, which was parked near the Regina Maris.

Then we drove one hour to Santiago de Compostela and as you can see, the time of the bus ride was used very differently: Some people used the time to braid hair and talk, while other people used the extra hour of sleep.

In Santiago de Compostela, Jacob gave us a rally to complete in five hours and Hannes and I had to film an interview with a pilgrim. Luckily, we found a German pilgrim we could interview within five minutes.

At first, it was really hard to find the rally points, but after a while, Toni got a hang of it and he easily guided us through the city. In the pictures under the text, you can see the group of boys taking a break and under that, you can see our guide.

While we were working hard, the teachers were chilling in a restaurant and sipping on non-alcoholic drinks ;).

Luckily, we also found a good Döner store. But it was topped with ketchup and mayonnaise (?!?), those people in Spain clearly don’t know how to make the right Döner.

On the way back, we saw a rainbow and back on the ship, we discussed the answers of the interviews with the pilgrims. It was really interesting to see what the pilgrims’ motivations were to hike the Jakob’s trail. Most people did it for religion, but there were also a lot of people, who did it for the challenge.

Greetings:

Hannes: Liebe Grüße an Erik und an meine Familie, hab‘ hier ne geile Zeit.

Frieda: Alles alles Liebe zum Geburtstag, Anouk! Jetzt bist Du einfach schon 20, wie crazy!

Greetings to the pilgrims we met today in Santiago de Compostela!!! From the eight girls.
