The 05:00–08:00 watch had the pleasure of enjoying the first beautiful sunrise. Also, the A and B watches were accompanied by dolphins. Some of us had a first aid course from our medic Tamo. It was very interesting to learn how to treat wounds.

The mood was very nice until the sea got rougher. Lunch was very challenging and some clothes suffered under the sauce from the chicken. While we ate, there was a fire alarm because the kitchen had some problems with the oven. But no worries — everything is fine.

While the B watch was outside, the waves got higher and higher and we were forced to sit in the sea garden on deck and the people who had no watch had to sit in the mess.

Then a big shock in the evening — there was a big WUMMSS!!! Something flew overboard into the waves. We thought, “NOOO, MAN OVERBOARD!?!” But it was just the safety tent. We saw how the container opened in the water and the safety tent popped out. Then it slowly floated away. Incredible!

But to calm all the worried parents down — we have a second one. For 25 persons. Hopefully, we don’t have to play rock, paper, scissors for a seat!

In addition to the moving ship, the floor was slippery as hell! People flew through the room!

P.S.: Two sails ripped apart, but that’s not a problem.

Now we have a mood check in a few words for you:

  • Tamo: 8/10 fasten your seatbelts and be ready for turbulence
  • Ylva: 9/10 feeling safe even without a safety tent
  • Liv: 8.5/10 happy to live my dream but tired
  • Melanie: 8.5/10 exhausted but happy
  • Helene: 8/10 happy but skeptical if this ship is certified for high seas
