Travelling

Ship: Reggie
Date: 18.01.2025
Position: On the way to the Coffeefarm

Our last morning at the Academia Tica started with a typical Costa Rican breakfast, Gallo Pinto, which is rice with beans and scrambled eggs. After 1.5 hours of Spanish this morning, our graduation started.

The first group was Ella, Sonja, Max, Balthasar, Nuala, Pepe, and Christian. They prepared to play the game “Who is?” with us.

Second, the group of Tilly, Franz, Marie, Janno, Hannes and Niklas sang the song “Me gustas tú” in a new version.

Afterward, Strate, Malte, Lea, Kaja, Benji, Leon and Jasper presented their role play about a restaurant situation.

Next, Sophia, Timo, Arvid, Anna, Anneke and Talea sang a song about the weekdays in Spanish.

Miriam, Jana, Jakob, Marilen and Leonore gave a speech about their days at the Academia Tica.

In the end, the group of Nico, Felipa (me), Enno and Raphi did a quiz inspired by the television show “1, 2 oder 3” about Costa Rica and what we learned.

After our presentation, we all got a certificate, gathered our stuff and packed our bags. Then we had our last meal at the Academia Tica: Burritos, until the bus came.

With the bus, we drove about three hours into the mountains to the coffee farm of Carlos. During the ride, some of us watched a soccer game, others slept or talked.

Arriving there, we met the Johnny Crew and set up our tents. Carlos, the owner of the coffee farm, then gave us a welcome speech and we had dinner: Pasta with tomato sauce.

In the evening, we sat at the bonfire and talked.
