On the Mexican peninsula of Yucatán, students will explore the ancient Mayan cities, and learn about current Mexican culture. Here, there will be opportunities to further improve the language skills acquired in Costa Rica.
Day 1 – Arrival in Cancun, then a trip to the museum.
Day 2 – Trip to Valladolid. Setting up camp, and scavenger hunt
Day 3 – Trip to the ancient Mayan city, Chichen Itzá and the nearby caves
Day 4 – Trip to the ancient Mayan city of Ek ‘Balam. Visiting an agave plantation/distillery
Day 5 – Return to Cancun
