My day started at 07:00 with Roque waking me up for breakfast, which I decided to skip today as I wasn’t really hungry and hoped to be forgotten and not woken up again for the green plan. Unfortunately, my plan didn’t work out and at 08:00 Klara stood in front of my bed telling me to go clean the Messe.

After five minutes of trying to wake me up, she decided to go get Cecily and a cup of water, which then finally got me out of my bed.

When the green plan was done, our first lesson of the day started, which was, as always so far, Spanish with Birte. We were given time and tasks to practice for our little test next lesson and everyone worked efficiently.

After an hour, Sören took over and continued the lesson with a chemistry domino game and a short round of the game Impostor, which (as I find crazy) he didn’t know yet.

In the much-loved self-learning time from 13:00 to 15:00, everyone spread out around the ship and worked on their tasks from their schools at home and as I was the fastest, I luckily got a space in the Segelkoje, in which even practicing Latin can be fun.

At 15:30, the galley team blessed us with absolutely wonderful cinnamon rolls and a hot cup of coffee to get motivated and ready for Charlotte’s pathway, which started at 16:15. Her topic was “Animals in the Caribbean Sea and how they are endangered” and we all learned a lot and had fun discussing the questions she gave at the end of her presentation.

Right after that, our Steuermann Robert gave us a short lesson about physics and the speed and propagation of light. After that, we were all done with learning for the day and most of us just relaxed on deck, watching the sunset, reading, doing sports or just talking.

After dinner, which was quite the same as every day, some of us went back up to the Seegarten and talked about our days or the night watches we were going to have tonight.

As I knew I was going to have watch at 04:00, I stayed up a little longer, because I knew if I went to bed then, I would get woken up sooner.

Greetings:
