Today the day began with a delicious breakfast. The galley team prepared rice pudding for us. With the apple purée it took me back to the good old days when I was in Kindergarten.

After breakfast nothing interesting happened, it was a normal Sunday morning. For lunch we had rice with beans, which brought our memories from Costa Rica and especially the BriBri back.

After the silent hour and the student assembly it was tea time. The fruit cake with vanilla sauce was very tasty. The time went by and it was time for choir. The rehearsal was very funny and later on the dinner was also very nice.

But now I would like to tell you a little story:

The moon has not fully risen yet and the sun hasn’t gone all the way down when at the horizon a boat could be seen. No, nobody could have seen the boat because it was in the middle of the ocean. The sails are set and the wind blows it in the right direction.

All in all it seems it’ll be a nice night. But the storm has already begun. The waves got heavier and heavier, the wind blew much more than it had been blowing the whole day. The boat swayed very much in the waves.

The captain stood on the deck and looked at the sea. „The storm will get worse tonight. We have to bring the sails down.“

His crew began with the task. Everyone knew what they had to do. And in the next minutes the sails were down. Not one minute too late. When the crew all went below deck, the storm began. The boat went up and down and the wind blew even heavier than before.

The next morning the storm was gone. Nothing was broken and the sails were set again.
The boat sailed away.
