The day started with a nice, enjoyable Valentine’s Day breakfast. For the occasion of the day, there were rolls in the shape of a heart. After a delicious breakfast, the English lessons continued, which were taken over by Sophie this time due to yesterday’s emergency situation.

She did great. In her lessons we learned how a real job application should look and be structured.

After that there was delicious Bolognese for lunch, which many were looking forward to. After lunch, we were told that we could go swimming in the wonderful, dreamlike turquoise waters of the Bahamas from 14:00 to 15:00. This meant that everyone jumped up to get their bathing suits and put them on.

When everyone was ready to jump into the water, we realized that it wasn’t that warm after all. But we didn’t care, because it would be nonsense if we were in the Bahamas and wouldn’t go swimming there. So we all jumped into the water and enjoyed our perhaps last swimming stop on the trip.

But then came the terrible news and a Reinschiff was planned for today, but this time with a special feature: Extra thoroughly, because we were surprised by something terrible in the provision room: Cockroaches! But we as students can’t do anything about it, because in our food delivery from Panama they traveled with them as stowaways.

That’s why we were particularly thorough for school today at the Reinschiff and also cleared out the entire provision room to find and destroy the cockroach nest, which we hope we have achieved today.

In addition, we also made ship beautifications, such as removing rusty spots and repainting them with white paint. When everything was done, we heard a radio message across the bridge that said: „Manja and Helena are on their way back.“ Very good news!!!

With this good news, we were told that we should dress up for dinner and that it was best to put on something pink or red. At the end of our evening time, the dear hearts that were written to us were given to us, then everyone ended their day nicely. What a nice day.
