Bye Bye Bribris (and Costa Rica)

Our day started, as tasty as every morning, at the Bribris. After breakfast, we got to work and did the last parts of packing before we left with two buses. In those two cooled carriages, we drove back to the Costa Rica-Panama border:

At the border, we got to buy snacks and drink coconuts while waiting. After we showed our passports, we could finally start our incredibly exhausting border walk, packed and stacked with our luggage and tons of coffee:

The new bus brought us right to these furiously fast water taxis, which speed over the waves like it was nothing:

Back at our Johnny, we had to store all the new food in the bilge and our luggage in the cabins, which is a never-ending process 😐

In the evening, we had a phenomenal dinner and a little swimming pause from all the unpacking. Also, a new Ocean College flag, which we changed right away for our German one, was surprisingly brought by the washing team:

Frido: Ich grüße euch! Ich bin heil und munter zurück auf der Johnny. Costa Rica war eine super Erfahrung. Übermorgen habe ich leider Backschaft (kotzen garantiert) aber das wird schon. Ich hoffe, bei euch läuft es auch gut.
