Today was a great rainy day. I woke up because something hit me in the face. I skipped breakfast and went directly to the sea garden. A new storm came up, I realized, when I saw the waves and asked the helmsperson.

During my watch, we spent a lot of time with wendings, which meant that we were completely wet at the start of our watch. It didn’t get better when it started to rain. It didn’t get boring during the watch, which was very good. The only thing was that half of my watch was seasick.

After our watch, the day didn’t end. I fell asleep for about two hours and then helped again with the sails. In the evening, we took the Klüver down. It was a little bit risky because every wave came directly into our faces and sometimes we were just hanging on the sail. It was an adrenaline rush and very funny.

In the evening, nobody ate dinner because it was just bread. After that, I had another watch. This time it was a little bit boring because we had nothing to do.

But at least we had a funny day and almost no one got seasick! We set the sails multiple times from port to starboard, which was exciting because the waves were getting bigger and bigger. Even the rain did not kill our mood. Tomorrow should also be a “wavy” day.

Greetings:
