Briefly about Niklas:

Niklas teaches mathematics, physics, natural sciences and chemistry. He loves Snickers and Mars more than anything and has a supply of them.

Teacher Niklas has felt very good today compared to many others. He is happiest on the trip when we are somewhere in the Atlantic and everyone jumps overboard to swim in places where probably no one else has swum.

Niklas describes the food on board as very tasty and varied and finds it remarkable that there is something warm to eat almost three times a day. Shell (our fantastic cook on board) does an amazing job.

His favorite music during watch is anything by AnnenMayKantereit. He decided to join Ocean College as a teacher because he had spent the last 20 years at a summer camp. When he stopped this year, he thought it would be a great idea to go sailing instead of camping.

Niklas enjoys everything related to youth work and appreciates how much more personal interactions become with the students at Ocean College. He describes our group as full of exciting, diverse characters, with no one dancing out of line negatively.

Briefly about the day:

Nothing special happened during the day, if you can say that on this trip. There were still a few instances of seasickness, but it was far better than yesterday. The crew meeting is at 12:45 from today onward.

This means that our captain will give a short speech about the weather and what we should pay particular attention to during the watches, etc.

Very important!

For breakfast this morning, there was porridge with fruit and toast; for lunch, pasta with spinach and feta sauce; and for dinner, pie à la Shell with vegetables, followed by yogurt with granola, honey, and fruit for dessert.
