Insolvency insurance

As a professional tour operator, Ocean College is required to carry insolvency insurance, unlike other providers of such tours. This insurance compensates our customers in case of insolvency of Ocean College. Only after receiving a so-called “Sicherungsschein” we can receive payments.

Insurances for our participants

Travel health insurance is mandatory for all participants. The USA and Canada do not need to be covered.

If you have not yet taken out travel health insurance abroad, we recommend that you contact KAERA Versicherungsmakler, our partner in travel insurance. KAERA offers you comprehensive travel protection with a combination of foreign travel health insurance and immediate assistance insurance.

Optionally, you can also book a travel cancellation insurance.

Please note that only German nationals can be insured through KAERA; nationals of other nationalities must obtain insurance through a provider in their country.
