Roald Amundsen

Welcome aboard the Roald Amundsen – a traditional brig with a remarkable history. Built in 1952 as an armored transporter, she was converted into a sailing ship in 1992 and set sail for the first time a year later. At 40.8 meters long, she offers space for 31 trainees and 17 crew members. Despite her simple fittings, she is equipped with modern technology and regularly takes part in the Tall Ships’ Races. Her home port is Eckernförde.
